We’re all just recovering from a fantastic strike day, which received hugely solid support from our members. Pickets were up at just before 7.00am, by which time students from the occupation were already out helping us, and setting up their own demonstration alongside the picket line.
The first media call was a live radio call to BBC Radio Sussex at 7.06, and the coverage continued throughout the day with teams from BBC News, Radio 4 World Tonight, Reuters, and the press covering the story continuously. We’ll sort out the links of coverage as soon as we can. Meanwhile thanks to everyone who gave so much support today. For now… some photos.
